GENERAL LABORER

We are seeking candidates for multiple General Labor and Level II Inspector positions. Starting rates for labor positions range $16.00/hr to $17.00/hr depending on experience
Required Education and Experience

Demonstrate ability to perform safely, quick, and accurately

Know how to use measuring tape and know basic math

Be 18 years or older

Have a High School Diploma or GED

Demonstrate basic computer skills
-
Have physical stamina and endurance to perform essential functions

Be able and willing to work in all weather conditions outside as needed

Must be punctual and reliable

6 months of relevant experience in an industrial setting

Knowledge of operating equipment and machinery

Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Must be authorized to work in the US
Essential Job Functions
-
Handle pipe at entry/exit racks and ensure it moves at a constant flow
-
Stencil and color band on pipe according to work order requirements
-
Help forklift drivers load and unload pipe and keep rack count
-
Maintain work area in a safe and orderly condition

Training will be provided for other positions within the manufacturing organization

Identification and traceability, Product marking and test status activities

Control of Non-conformances.
Education Requirements:
-
Minimum of high school or better.
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years of Pipe inspecting experience, as per API 5CT and 5DP NDT requirements.
-
Thorough knowledge of EMI and other NDT equipment.
-
Minimum of NDT Level II certified or prior certification available.
-
Ability to handle third party inspections.
Responsibilities:
-
Read and analyze work orders, production schedules and other records and generate production and inspection reports.
-
Check the workability of the EMI and NDT units for safety purposes.
-
Set-up and calibrate NDT inspection equipment with respect to codes, standards and specifications.
-
Interpret and evaluate results of inspection with respect to codes, standards and specifications.
-
Report on test results.

Responsible for identifying, segregating and isolating the nonconforming material and generating Disposition Reports accordingly.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands, fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
